Join Tinker on his working trap line for a fascinating wilderness outing where you'll be among the very few to experience this forgotten culture. Participate in the daily work of trapping beaver, marten, otter, fisher, mink. Learn trap-setting, fur-handling skills, as well as wilderness survival skills. Boat and canoe the lakes, hike the portages and ancient bush trails traveled by deer, bear, moose and wolves. You'll come away with a rare insight into the fine balance between man and nature.

Your all-inclusive, one week trip includes:
  • Transportation to the trap cabin from either Nestor Falls or the airport in International Falls, MN.
  • All required transportation, including floatplane, truck, boat, canoes.
  • All meals
  • Remote cabin accommodations at licensed outpost on Tinker’s registered trap line.
  • Fishing and hunting opportunities are available to guests with proper licenses.

It is recommended that you bring:
  • 2-3 sets of warm clothing, including long underwear
  • Good raingear
  • Rubber boots, hiking boots, cabin shoes
  • Sleeping bag and towel
  • Personal toiletries, personal first aid kit and any required medicines
  • Flashlight, camera, binoculars, waterproof matches and knife

One week all inclusive trips include conservation fishing license: $1500 US
